According to the information of JagoNews24, various markets of Rangpur city can be seen, sugar is being sold at Tk 145-150 per kg in the retail market like last week. Apart from this, desi onion is being sold at Tk 120 like last week. However, Indian onion has increased from 90 taka to 100 taka.

Cardinal potato has increased by 5 taka to 50 taka, white country potato 65-70 taka, shil 60-65 taka and the price of zhow potato has decreased by 5 taka to 70 taka per kg. Apart from this, green chillies are being sold at the rate of Tk 90-100 per kg, reduced from Tk 120-130.
In the wholesale market, the price of poultry chicken eggs decreased from Tk 46-48 to Tk 40-42, desi ginger as before Tk 230-240, Indian ginger Tk 220-240, tomato price increased to Tk 150-160 per kg, carrot 10-20 up to Tk 130- 140 Tk., a piece of gourd by Tk.55-60, price of thin eggplant reduced by Tk.30-35, round eggplant reduced by Tk.55-60, medium size eggplant reduced from Tk.75-80 to Tk.55-60, papaya Tk.25-30, bitter gourd reduced by Tk.40 -Tk 50, Barb Tk 40, Cucumber Tk 30-35, Lemon Tk 10-15, Watermelon Tk 25-30, Gourd per size Tk 30-40, Coriander price reduced Tk 70-80, Watermelon Tk 20-25, 45-50 taka per kg of sweet pumpkin, 55-60 taka of shrimp, 40-45 taka of dudhkushi, 35-40 taka of patal, 50-60 taka of rice, 50 taka of kakarol, 60 taka of beans, 60 taka of beans 70-80 taka , cabbage reduced from 60 taka to 40 taka , cauliflower 40 taka , radish reduced from 40 taka to 25-30 taka , desi garlic as before 220-240 taka and Indian garlic 220-240 taka per kg.
City market vegetable seller Abdur Razzak told JagoNews24 that the import of winter vegetables has increased in the market. Prices have started to fall as supply increases with demand. However, the price is not coming under control even by importing potatoes.

Looking around the chicken market, broiler chicken is selling at Tk 170-180 as last week, Pakistani chicken at Tk 280-290 and Desi chicken at Tk 430-440 per kg as before. Beef is being sold at Tk 650-720 and goat meat at Tk 800-900 per kg in the market.
In the retail market, one liter of bottled soybean is selling at Tk 168, two liters at Tk 358-360 and open soybean oil at Tk 170-180.

In the rice market, it can be seen that Swarna (coarse) rice is Tk 48-50 as last week, Pajam Tk 53-55, Jirashail Tk 58-60, BR28 Tk 63-65, Miniket Tk 68-70 and Nazirshail Tk 78-80 per kg.
In the retail market, packets of flour are being sold at Tk 55 and open flour at Tk 45, chickpeas at Tk 90-100 and packets of flour at Tk 70. Lentils (medium) are being sold in the market at Tk 110-120, chick dal at Tk 130-140, mugdal at Tk 150 and butterdal at Tk 90-100 per kg.
Meanwhile, the fish market can be seen, depending on the size, ruima fish 250-350 taka, mrigel 220-250 taka, carp 200-220 taka, pangas 150-160 taka, tilapia 140-160, catal 280-350 taka, bata 160-180 taka, horn 300-400 Tk, silver carp is being sold at Tk 150-250 per kg.
